Saudi Arabia is actively promoting the "Vision 2030", committed to achieving economic diversification and reducing dependence on the oil industry. Under this strategic framework, the government has taken a series of measures to promote the development of the manufacturing industry as a key sector.

October 2022, the Saudi government launched the National Industrial Strategy, focusing on developing 12 manufacturing industries including aviation, automotive, pharmaceuticals, machinery, mining, and food processing. The goal is to double the manufacturing industry's GDP and increase the value of industrial exports to 557 billion Saudi riyals by 2030.

The number of manufacturing factories under construction or already built in Saudi Arabia continues to grow. As of January 2024, the total number of factories reached 11672, with a total investment of approximately 1.54 trillion Saudi riyals.

Saudi Arabia's manufacturing industry is transitioning from a traditional economy oil dependent to a diversified, high-end, and green one. Policy support, technological innovation, and international cooperation continue to drive its development. With the advancement of the "Vision 2030", Saudi Arabia is expected to occupy a more important position in the global manufacturing landscape.
